Kurt Zouma’s brother, Yoan, suspended by his Club; Dagenham & Redbridge, for filming cat-attack video.

Kurt Zouma’s footballer brother, Yoan Zouma, who was condemned by his club side, Dagenham & Redbridge after filming West Ham star kicking his cat in a now viral video, has been suspended..

Confirming the news of his dismissal, Dagenham & Redbridge in a statement on Thursday morning stated that "The club would like to give a further update on its player, Yoan Zouma.

"Yoan was this week contacted by the RSPCA to assist in their investigation and is fully cooperating with them.

‘However, Dagenham & Redbridge FC would again like to reiterate that it condemns any form of cruelty towards animals and fully understands the reaction of many of its supporters.

‘The club has therefore decided that until the RSPCA has completed its investigations, Yoan will not play for Dagenham & Redbridge in any competitive Matches.

‘Any further action deemed necessary to be taken will be made at the conclusion of the RSPCA investigation.’

Yoan Zuma who filmed the attack and uploaded it to his Snapchat has been suspended by Dagenham & Redbridge for filming the sickening cat-attack video.

Kurt has been fined £250,000 by West Ham while his two pet cats have been seized by the RSPCA after Yoan filmed his brother drop-kicking and slapping the animal before posting the clip on his Snapchat.

Yoan, meanwhile, joined National League side Dagenham & Redbridge in December and has made six appearances for the club.

However, they have now confirmed that Yoan, 23, will no longer represent them while the RSPCA’s investigation is ongoing.

‘The club has therefore decided that until the RSPCA has completed its investigations, Yoan will not play for Dagenham & Redbridge in any competitive matches.

This comes after Sportswear Giants, Adidas revoked their £100,000 a year boot sponsorship on Kurt Zouma and Sponsors like Vitality, cancelling the £500,000 a year sponsorship on West ham United, as Well as Sponsors like Experience Kissimmee and Yield App cancelling their respective deals with the club.

A statement from the RSPCA read: ‘The two cats are now in RSPCA care. Our priority is and has always been the well-being of these cats.

‘They’ve been taken for a check-up at a vets and then will remain in our care while the investigation continues.

‘We’re grateful to everyone who expressed their concern for these cats. We were dealing with this issue before the video went viral online and are leading the investigation

Although, West Ham United  in a statement, stated that "West Ham United would like to reiterate our condemnation of Kurt’s actions and make it clear that the matter continues to be handled with the utmost seriousness. However, we believe it is now important to allow the RSPCA to conduct their investigation in a fair and thorough manner, and will be making no further comment at this stage.’

West ham United will however not suspend its Star, as West Ham United can confirm that Kurt Zouma has been placed on a £250,000 fine meant to be donated to Animal Welfare and is indeed cooperating with the authorities, in regards to his actions. West ham considers him, an important player of the team, as he was featured in the clash against Watford Last Tuesday at the London stadium.
